Warhawks Battle Rams to 4-3 Victory

The Warhawks prevailed 4-3 against the Robinson Rams on 5/13. After a scoreless first period, the Warhawks shifted into high gear, led by sophomore Matt Hetherington and freshman Preston Cain. Matt scored unassisted at the start of the second and Preston blasted in a missed shot by Matt just 30 seconds later. Matt capped off the second with another unassisted goal. Robinson mounted a comeback at the start of the third, scoring twice, but the Warhawks answered back, with Matt's third goal of the evening, assisted again by Preston. The Rams scored again near the end of the third making it a one point game but the Warhawk defenders denied them the tie goal.
