Warhawks Battle To Narrow 3-2 Victory Over Titans/Pathers

The Madison varsity earned a narrow victory over the combined Dominion Titans/Potomac Falls Panthers 3-2 to remain undefeated. The Panther squad scored first but the Warhawks tied it up with 5 seconds left in the 1st period with a goal by T.J. Ezzard and assists by Sammy Thompson and Kamron Sarmadi. The Warhawks pulled ahead at the 9 minute mark of the 2nd period with a goal by Kamron Sarmadi, assisted by Brendan Fielman but the Panthers tied it up at the 4 minute mark. Freshman forward T.J. Ezzard scored the game winning goal un-assisted at the 3:35 mark of the 2nd period. Goalie Dean Kern kept the net clean in the 3rd period as the Warhawks outshot the Panthers 30-19. The Warhawks have moved into second place in the NVSHL Adams division.
