Warhawks shutout by Flint Hill

The Warhawk varsity had a very tough game against Flint Hill and were shutout 0 - 5. Although the Warhawks did manage to out shoot the Huskies, they failed to capitalize on 5 power play opportunities and struggled to build any momentum. An out of control group of Flint Hill students were taunting our goalie, climbing on the boards and throwing change on the ice repeatedly during the game, forcing refs to stop play multiple times. These interruptions along with a sequence of two short-handed goals by the Huskies at start of the 3rd period rattled the Warhawks enough to foil end of game attempts to get on the score board and avoid the shutout. Time for the Warhawks to put this loss behind them, regroup and prepare for game against rival Oakton. Thanks to student managers Lucas and Daniel for handling score sheet clock and music.
