The Warhawks remain undefeated with a 6-3 win over the Langley Saxons on Friday 1/6. Warhawk forward T.J. Ezzard started off the scoring early in the first period but the Saxons would answer back. This scenario played out thru 2 periods with Langley answering back for every Madison goal scored. Early in the 3rd period, Warhawk forward Luke Pohlman would score his second goal of the game, putting the Warhawks in front 4-3. The Warhawks would wear down the Saxons with 2 more unanswered goals including a hat trick - empty netter by T.J. Ezzard to seal the deal. An additional goal was scored by Kamron Sarmadi and assists came from Nick Willey, Keegan Sweeney, T.J. Ezzard, Kamron Sarmadi and Jeffrey Hunter. Goalie Dean Kern turned away 32 shots as the Saxons outshot the Warhawks 35 to 28. With a 6-0 record, the Warhawks are in second place in the Northern Virginia Scholastic Hockey League (NVSHL). Their next game is on Fri 1/20 @ 9:40PM versus Woodgrove/Clarke at Reston
